The Road to Market Leader in Investment Compliance
Aquin Components GmbH (Aquin) was founded in 1993 as a consultancy company with a team of economists, computer specialists, and mathematicians, and quickly expanded across Europe providing financial institutions with expert
solutions, innovative technologies and investment management expertise. As a result of its investment consulting success, Aquin took the decisive step in 1997 to develop its own products. Aquin
Components was established in 1999 for this purpose to provide
best-of-breed software products to the international investment
managment industry.
Since its inception Aquin has grown internationally
acquiring "blue-chip" clients and establishing operations throughout Europe. Aquin has capitalised on its long-standing experience in the highly regulated and divergent European investment environment to be recognised as the leading software vendor and innovation driver of investment compliance solutions across Europe. Today, seven of the world's biggest Global Custodians monitor investment compliance using MIG21.
From December 2005 to September 2008,
ViewPoint Ventures was a shareholder of Aquin Components providing a foundation for continuous growth on an international level. During this period Aquin successfully penetrated European markets and entered new territories in the USA and Asia.
